Glass Projects:

One Way Light Box:

This mirror and light panel was made with 6 mm one-way mirror. A graphic was silk screened onto the inside of the mirror so that it is hidden when the backlight is off. When the backlight comes on, the image becomes visible. The frame is made from cherry.
When the backlight is off, it functions as a mirror.

With the backlight on, the graphic appears.

This is a close up of the graphic. It is a cityscape of New York that has been altered in Photoshop. The sky consists of a coarse halftone effect (top left), and the buildings use both a "lorem ipsum" text and a swallow pattern to act as a custom halftone for different values of grey.

Close up of the swallow pattern (left) and text (right).
